Mirage: An Architectural Sonic Experience is a radical meditation on sound, space, and materiality. Composed entirely on-site, the album transforms three iconic Danish landmarks – Thorvaldsen Museum, Brønshøj Water Tower, and Grundtvig’s Church – into living instruments, capturing their unique acoustics and deep reverberations. Internationally acclaimed percussionist and composer Ying-Hsueh Chen (Taiwan/DK) continues her journey of rediscovering sonic heritage, building on her previous project like Ancestral Modernism and Dark Radiance. Mirage reclaims the lost dialogue between sound and space, inviting listeners into a sonic world beyond time and space.
