The name, Bandapart, was inspired by a Jean Luc Goddard movie title, and the music is a constantly varying journey through a colorful sound landscape.

Their debut album "Bandapart", released on ILK in 2005, features Jakob Bro and Søren Kjærgaard in telepatic interplay, weaving lines in and out of each other and creating rich contrapunctal textures.
