Anders Banke (1971) graduated 2002 as a saxophone and clarinet player from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Anders Banke (b. 1971) graduated 2002 as a saxophone and clarinet player from the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen, Denmark. He plays in a wide variety of groups from the Danish jazzscene, including Spring, Mark Solborg 4, Pasborg’s Odessa 5, Pierre Dørge & New Jungle Orchestra, moLd and Copenhagen Art Ensemble to name a few.

Anders appears on more than 50 albums as a musician, composer and arranger, and has worked with the likes of Django Bates, John Tchicai, Herb Robertson and Jim Black as well as Egberto Gismonti and Indian flute maestro Shashank Subramanyam.

Aside from playing he teaches at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Cph and Frederiksberg pre-conservatory school (MGK).
